The party was formed in 2015, when the original five founded ALEXES UNITE! in the fall of 2015. The founding principles were the improvement of life for the founding members under the tyrannical rule of Marnie and Crane. As other Alexes around the country found out about our ideals, Alex realized that by simply changing the manifesto in a few places, the movement could include the fight for representation of all Alexes, not just the pioneers of the movement.

It is a testament to the durability of the movement that it not only survived the 2021 arrest of its founders, but that the power vacuum was resolved peaceably and near unanimously in favor of our current leader, Alex. While the feds were only able to make the charges of tax evasion stick, Alex, Alex, Alex, Alex, and Alex have been out of the picture, without any new influence on the direction of the leadership.
